Sports Massage

Sports Massage is one of the fastest growing forms of treatment for athletes and the general public. We use a range of techniques but focus on a specific area of the body to target the injury or discomfort caused by any activity. It aims to loosen muscle tension, improve blood flow and prevent lactic acid build-up. Thus, enhancing performance and reducing muscle pain.

Remedial Massage

This Treatment is ideal for those suffering with aches, chronic pain, tension and discomfort in your muscles or soft tissue. It involves a range of techniques and focuses on specific areas to eliminate the cause of your pain and increasing your range of motion. It aims to loosen muscle tension, improve blood flow, eliminate toxins and increase your lymphatic system.

Deep Tissue Massage

This massage is ideal for those looking for a whole- body massage with the benefits of firm pressure used during the treatment. This massage improves blood flow, eliminates toxins and relaxes the muscles.

Sports Maintenance Massage

Receiving Regular Massages can prevent avoidable injuries often caused by a build-up of tension. This is a slightly lighter massage that helps reduce muscle soreness and fatigue from sporting activities.

Pre-Event Massage

A good thorough Massage 24 hours before an event will treat any areas of tension in the tissue, preparing the muscle for an event or activity. It is beneficial before a big training session or sporting event. Thus, preventing injuries and allowing you to focus on the mental preparation, decreasing stress levels and calming nerves.

Post-Event Massage

This treatment can be received from 30 minutes to 48 hours after the event. The best time for a Massage to aid recovery is as soon as possible after a hard training session or event. It aims to increase vascular and lymphatic activity and removes waste products such as lactic acid, which is produced in the muscle during exercise and contributes to delayed onset muscle soreness, fatigue and stiffness

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is the insertion of a single-use sterile acupuncture needle directly into muscular trigger points or areas of high tension.
Dry Needling is greatly beneficial for any form of muscular pain. This technique is used in conjunction with other massage techniques. It is extremely effective with minimal discomfort.

Please be mindful that the results and reactions to Dry Needling can vary from person to person.

Dry Cupping

Dry Cupping is used to loosen tight muscles, bring hydration and blood flow to the tissue and drain excess fluids and toxins. By creating a suction and no pressure, the cups bring old blood and toxins to the surface making way for new blood and oxygen thus helping with the healing process. Cups can be kept on an area from around 5 to 20 minutes.

Please be aware that Cupping does leave light red to dark red cupping marks on the body and these marks can take up to 10 days to disappear.

Electro-Dry Needling

Electro-Dry Needling is the use of Electrotherapy through acupuncture needles. The combination of dry needling with electro-stimulation often prolongs pain relief and is more effective in releasing tension, as it sends a current directly to the tissue. Electro-Dry Needling is commonly used to treat Acute and Chronic Conditions. It reduces pain, reduces muscle tension, increases blood circulation, improves joint mobility, restores muscle strength and reduces inflammation.
